ATCL SACCOS Members Celebrate The Opening Of New Branch Office At JNIA

On 26th June 2024, members of the Air Tanzania Company Limited Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (ATCL SACCOS) gathered to celebrate the official opening of their new branch office at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA). This event marks a significant milestone for the cooperative as it expands its reach to better serve its growing membership base.


The grand opening, held at the newly inaugurated office, was filled with excitement and anticipation. Along with members, key ATCL stakeholders attended the event, including special guest CPA Jamal Kigundu, Director of Finance at ATCL. The new office is designed to improve access to services such as loan processing, savings management, and financial advice, making it a more efficient hub for the cooperative’s members.


During the celebration, ATCL SACCOS leaders expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the members for their ongoing support and participation in the cooperative’s success. They highlighted that the new office is the result of collective effort, providing an opportunity for members to access essential financial services in a more convenient location.


A major highlight of the event was the inauguration of four new loan products designed to meet the diverse needs of the members: Motor Loan (Motor-vehicle, Bajaji, and Motorcycles), Furniture Loan, Building Materials Loan, and Home Appliances Loan. These products will offer members more tailored financial options, helping them achieve their personal and home improvement goals.


In addition, the event also featured the unveiling of ATCL SACCOS’ 5-Year Corporate Strategic Plan, which outlines the cooperative’s vision for growth, financial sustainability, and improved services over the coming years. The strategic plan is a clear reflection of the cooperative’s commitment to fostering financial empowerment and supporting its members’ aspirations.


The opening ceremony included speeches from various dignitaries, who praised the cooperative’s dedication to enhancing the financial well-being of its members. The event culminated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour of the new facilities.


This development is a significant step in strengthening the financial infrastructure of ATCL SACCOS.
